On 31st July the Council of Ministers, despite the clear NO expressed by the regions of Umbria and Lazio, by the municipalities of the district and by the population, gave its consent to continuation of construction of the ‘Castel Giorgio’ pilot plant, proposed by ITW-LKW Geotermia Italia.

Citizens, municipalities, associations and regions are preparing to take appeals against this decision to the administrative courts of the Regions concerned and, if necessary, to national courts and European institutions.

All these appeals must be submitted before October 30th.
