Let’s defend Lake Bolsena and Alfina against the risk of earthquakes and water pollution!
After the decision of the Council of Ministers in July 2019 allowing construction of the pilot plant in Castel Giorgio to continue, citizens, associations, municipalities and regions decided to appeal to the Regional Administrative Court (TAR).
People and associations quickly organised fundraisers to help finance the appeal, in various ways:
- by bank transfer to a dedicated bank account
- through crowd-funding
- in cash at information events organized in the area.
On October 31, four separate appeals were filed: one from the Umbria region, one from the Lazio region, one from the municipalities and another from associations and individuals.
To date (13/07/2020) €38,265.97 has been collected, enough to finance the appeals and associated lawsuits.
